I have been hearing that many coaches and consultants still have to travel to see their prospects and clients. When you travel to see a prospect you need to spend money on gas. You will only get paid that amount of money back if the prospect decides to hire you. If they do not hire you you lose the time that you have spend on traveling and the meeting as well as the money that you have spent on gas to travel to the meeting.
Other coaches tell me that they do a lot of business development and that they market for clients locally. As a result of higher gas prices it now costs much more money to do business development and marketing for a coaching business.
If you teach workshops or classes locally you will have to again spend money on gas in order to get there.
Also as a result of higher prices many of your coaching clients may be deciding to stop using your services which again will decrease your bottom line.
