As I went through high school I worked parttime jobs played sports with the intention of attending college with the encouragement of my basketball coaches. I had coaches and teachers who encouraged me to attend college. All along with my subconscious whish or dream to work with a pen instead of a shovel kept me motivated with the help of God to pursue college education. I was the first in my family to attend college and I worked for 34 years in education as a teacher/guidance counselor. I retired at a designated age to live the good life.
