HAVE YOU FORGOTEN YOUR DREAMS? Dream Again And Live The Good Life That You Deserve!
All of us had dreams when we were young and somehow our dreams were beating out of us by the adults and our immediate environment. Society instills upon us certain values and reality. As we are growing up when we tell the adults about our dreams they usually tell us stop dreaming and get a good education in order to get a good paying job with job security. These adults have lost their desire to dream so they are passing along what was passed on to them by the adults when they were growing up. When we are young we have all of these big dreams about owning nice fancy cars owning a million dollar home and traveling the world. These dreams are squashed in most cases by our parents schools and our society as a whole. Think about it! How many times were you told stop daydream come down to earth and be with the rest of us and get your head out of the clouds. After years of hearing these discouraging words we begin to loose our desire to dream and our ambition to achieve our dreams.
As a young man I was inspired to someday get a job where I wouldnt have to do manual labor. Where someday I would work with a pen instead of a shovel. Being born in a third world country when I was 11 years I looked at my teachers hand and said to my self I want hands like that when I grow up hands nice and smooth unlike that of my parents who worked on the farm to carve a living. Then I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to come to the United States of America in May of 1963 at the age of 13. I attended a middle school and a high school in Falmouth Massachusetts. As I went through high school I worked parttime jobs played sports with the intention of attending college with the encouragement of my basketball coaches. I had coaches and teachers who encouraged me to attend college. All along with my subconscious whish or dream to work with a pen instead of a shovel kept me motivated with the help of God to pursue college education. I was the first in my family to attend college and I worked for 34 years in education as a teacher/guidance counselor. I retired at a designated age to live the good life. I was very fortunate to have lived my dream to this point. I lived my dream according to the core belief of the E quadrant found in Robert Kiyosakis book Rich Dad/Poor Dad. But to attain your big childhood dreams you really have to change your core belief from the E quadrant to the B quadrant where you can create financial freedom. Those of us in the E quadrant employees and small business owners value job security and those people in the B quadrant big business and investors value freedom.
If we want to create financial wealth take control of our future we need to start dreaming again and change our core belief from that of the E quadrant to that of the B quadrant.
